The Faceless Spirits
Hello, My name’s Dan, short for Daniel. That’s what people usually call me. I was visiting my grandmother in Mussoorie, so I had to go by car.
I had my dinner at 9:00 p.m. and set off at 9:30 p.m. I planned to reach there by 6:00 a.m. My grandmother also wakes up at around 6 o’clock.
As I started my journey (alone), it wasn’t that dark, as I was in the city, but as I went deeper into the woods, it darkened. My car’s fuel ran out, so I removed my backup fuel tank from the trunk when I heard someone WEEPING! I thought who would be out in such darkness I also remembered that some people say that ghosts exist in Mussoorie, but I don’t in the morning and I do in the night (If you get my drift). I laughed nervously inwardly and refilled my fuel tank and drove away at full speed.
I was driving and driving until 3:13 a.m. I started feeling dizzy all of a sudden. I stopped my car, ate some chips, drank some water, and was almost ready to resume my journey, but my car wasn’t prepared to start. I went to check the engine when I heard the weeping! I was scared stiff that I would fail the driver’s test, but then I noticed that the sun was almost up, so I gathered some courage and went to look into the woods. There I saw a kid crying. I patted him and asked, “What happened?" Why’re you crying? " He said, “It’s because of you because you didn’t come to save me earlier."
I thought about how he had come so far so quickly without any vehicle or any other transport. As I was thinking about all this, he asked, “Can I come to your place with you?". I thought and said, "Alright.” After that, when I pulled him up, I observed his face that was without any eyes, nose, mouth or all the parts that a face has. I was scared so much that I thought that I had suppressed a small heart attack. I ran to my car and, thankfully, it started. I rode away at full speed.
I saw my grandmother’s house nearby, but then I noticed something unusual — a girl sitting in my car’s backseat. As I looked back, she raised her head and smiled at me. I opened my car door and ran to my grandmother’s house.
I rang the bell, and she came and asked, “What happened, Dan?" I replied, “I saw a ghost, a kid with no eyes, nose, ears, and all, and a girl in my car’s backseat who smiled creepily at me." She said, "So you saw the faceless spirits?", “WHAT?!”, I replied. She asked, “Now do you believe in ghosts?" and she answered, “Yes, I do in the morning, afternoon, and evening!”.
The story of the faceless Spirits
The faceless spirits lived happily ever after. The child’s name was Luke, and the girl’s name was Alish. They were both siblings. One night, a man who was drunk and was driving at full speed ran down on them and then covered their faces with white paint. Then he was found dead in his car, and people who were driving at full speed encountered him. There’ve been many reports about this.
